When I originally found this outfit and stuck it on my fashion Pinterest board, I thought that it was far out of the realm of possibility. Then I found a pair of green pants that were actually long enough for me in the wonderful Alloy tall section, and thought "Hey, I'm halfway there!" So I kept an eye out for a great crisp check shirt, and lo and behold, one appeared on my favorite Banana Republic clearance rack.

 I do feel like this outfit is just shy of great, and I point the finger of blame at  the shirt tuck. Getting your shirt to drape perfectly out of your pants is a finite art, like origami or Newtonian physics.  However, I think having a belt, like the original Pin would really help out. It would just tie everything together, and lend more structure to what I am calling "the tucking zone." Let the hunt for the perfect cognac belt begin!
